
Golden Bria Holdings Inc., formerly Golden Haven Inc., a developer of memorial parks said net income reached P529 million in the first three months of the year due to higher sales of memorial lots as well as memorial chapel and cremation services.
The company owned by former senator Manuel Villar posted a total revenue of P1.81 billion in the January to March period, higher from P1.79 billion last year.
Of the total revenue, real estate sales increased to P1.77 billion from P1.75 billion last year due to a slight growth in sales in residential units for Bria Homes, as well as an increase in the sale of memorial lots for Golden Haven.
Income from internment services amounted to P9.5 million, up 11 percent from P8.6 million last year.
Earrings form chapel services went up by 4 percent to P91 million from P8.7 million due to the increase in the number of memorial chapel and cremation services.
Expenses, on the other hand, went down by 1 percent to P1.23 billion from P1.24 billion last year.
