Meralco says no disconnections until Sept 30

Manila Electric Co. has suspended until September the issuance of disconnection notices to its customers amid the COVID-19 pandemic. 

“Naipon ba ang unpaid bills mo from March to June? Naiintindihan namin ang hirap na dala ng #COVID19 pandemic, kaya wala muna tayong service disconnection hanggang September 30, 2020,” Meralco said in a Facebook post.

“ Makakaasa kayo kung ano lamang ang nakarehistrong konsumo ay yun lamang ang inyong babayaran,” it added.
