President Duterte’s campaign donor and businessman Dennis Uy said he has no interest in acquiring the frequencies left by Lopez-led ABS-CBN Corp. 

“It has come to our attention that there have been certain speculations going around on social media saying that the Udenna Group is associated with a reported broadcasting entity interested in acquiring the broadcast frequencies left behind by ABS-CBN. These are unfounded and completely false,”  Raymond Zorilla, Udenna Group spokesman said in a statement.

“We in Udenna have been consistent in stating that our priorities do not include broadcasting,” Zorrilla added.

Last July 10, 70 of the House committee on legislative franchises junked the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN, while 11 favored of the renewal.
