Passengers boarding the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3), Light Rail Transit  Line 1 and 2 are  prohibited to answer mobile calls and talk with other commuters to prevent the spread of COVID-19 inside the trains. 

“Mahigpit na ipinatutupad ang pagbabawal sa pagsasalita at pagsagot ng mga tawag mula sa cellphones o anumang digital devices ng mga pasahero, upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng virus sa pamamagitan ng respiratory droplets na nanggagaling sa pagsasalita, pag-ubo at pagbahing,” MRT 3 said.

MRT3 said there will be three marshalls per train set to monitor compliance with safety measures. 

The country’s mass rail systems also implemented no mask, no entry policy.
