Cebu Pacific is requiring its passengers flying to Davao a COVID-19 RPT-PCR (swab) test with negative result taken within 48 hours before departure.

The budget airline said the Coronovirus Antibody Blood (Rapid) Test is not acceptable.

The new requirement is in compliance with the regulations set by the Davao local authorities. 

“Guests without swab test will no the allowed to board the flight,” the airline said. 

“Passengers are strongly urged to check with the concerned local government units first prior to departure as they may have specific requirements and regulations,” Cebu Pacific said. 

Passengers may be also be asked to provide their complete addresses prior to travel date. Providing inaccurate information or incomplete requirements may result in denied boarding of the flight. 

“We encourage guests to check the email addresses and contact numbers they provided upon booking for updates on their flights. Passengers who booked through travel agencies or any other third party are strongly urged to check with them for information regarding their flights before their travel dates,” Cebu Pacific said.
