The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) said it will implement shorter operating hours for LRT Line 2 starting July 27 until August 2, 2020. 

The LRTA said the LRT2 will close at 7:30 p.m. for both eastbound and westbound routes.

The first commercial train trip from Cubao and Recto will start at 5 a.m.

The earlier closing time is to “give way for the installation of new power cables between Pureza and Legarda stations.” 

LRT 2 normal train schedule will resume on August 3, 2020.
