GLOBAL technology services provider NTT Ltd. has appointed Ireen Catane as chief executive officer (CEO) for its local subsidiary to accelerate its business growth in the Philippines.
She assumes the leadership role with immediate effect and will report to Kim-Meng Png, Asean CEO for NTT Ltd.
Her designation comes at an opportune time following the rebrand of DTSI Group and Dimension Data as NTT Ltd. on October 1, 2019 to serve customers in the domestic market with depth in skills and capabilities across technologies, under a single, unified brand.
“NTT Ltd. is uniquely positioned to offer clients a full stack of world-class solutions with local customization to address different client’s digital challenges. It is a privilege to be trusted to lead the next phase of growth and contribute to the overall success of NTT Ltd.,” Catane said.
With her new position, she will focus on forging strong client relationships, delivering value to stakeholders, and talent development.
As the new CEO, she will also lead the ongoing integration efforts of NTT Ltd. in the country.

According to him, Catane’s passion for leading with innovation and delivering value through excellent client relationships is crucial in this fast-changing technology services sector.
“With her track record in leading the growth of various respected brands in the industry, I’m confident of Ireen’s ability to drive operational excellence and lead our high-performing teams to do great things for our clients in the Philippines,” he noted.
Catane joins NTT Ltd. with more than 28 years of experience in the information technology industry, leading successful teams in brand management, channel distribution, business development and client management.
Prior to joining the multinational company, she held various country leadership roles in HP, Dell, IBM and most recently as enterprise commercial director at Microsoft Philippines.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science major in Computer Technology from De La Salle University.
At present, Catane is pursuing her master’s degree in Business Administration from Jack Welch Management Institute.
