The Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) will be temporarily suspending LRT-1 operations effective August 4 until August 18 this year  in line with the government’s announcement of Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in the National Capital Region. 

“LRMC is ready to continue enforcing strict health and safety measures upon the resumption of mass public transport services by the government,” the company said in an advisory.

“We would like to request for everyone’s understanding at this time,” it added.
