TRB approves CALAX Laguna segment toll rates

MPCALA Holdings Inc. sad it secured an approval from the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) to impose toll fees for the Interchanges of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway starting this month. 

These are the Laguna Boulevard Interchange and the Laguna Technopark Interchange in Biñan. 

“Opening these interchanges would significantly reduce traffic to and from Laguna, Cavite, Batangas provinces and nearby areas by decongesting Laguna Boulevard and Aguinaldo Highway,” Roberto V. Bontia, president and general manager of MPCALA said.

The toll rates corresponding to the interchanges approved by the Toll Regulatory Board and inclusive of Value Added Tax are as follows: 

Santa Rosa-Tagaytay to Greenfield (Mamplasan) Exit toll for Class 1 vehicles (private vehicles) is P47.00, Toll for Class 2 vehicles (medium-sized trucks and buses) is P95 and Toll for Class 3 vehicles (large trucks, trailers) is  P143,

For those entering from Laguna Boulevard exiting Greenfield (Mamplasan) Exit Class1 is P30, Class 2 is P60  and Class 3 P 91. Santa Rosa – Tagaytay to Laguna Technopark Exit, toll for Class 1 is P32, Class 2 is P65, Class 3 is P98.

Laguna Boulevard to Laguna Technopark Exit, toll for  Class 1 is P15.00, Class 2 is P30 and Class 3 is P45. Santa Rosa-Tagaytay to the Laguna Boulevard Eastbound Exit, toll for Class 1 vehicles is P17, toll for Class 2 vehicles is P34, and toll for Class 3 vehicles is P52.

Greenfield (Mamplasan) to Laguna Boulevard Westbound Exit, toll for Class 1 vehicles is PhP 30, Class 2 is P60, and Class 3 is P91  Laguna Technopark to Laguna Boulevard Westbound Exit toll for Class 1 vehicles P15, Class 2 is  P30, and Class 3 is  P45.

Greenfield (Mamplasan) to Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Exit, toll for Class 1 vehicles is P47, Class 2 is P95, Toll for Class 3 is P143. Laguna Technopark Class to Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road Exit, toll for Class 1 is P32, Class 2 is P65, Class 3 is  P98.

Laguna Boulevard to Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road Exit, toll for Class 1 is P17, Class 2 is P34, Class3 is P52.

Toll fees shall be effective upon opening of the interchanges targeted this August.

The whole stretch of CALAX has  nineinterchanges in the following locations; Kawit, Governor’s Drive, Aguinaldo Highway, Silang, Santa Rosa-Tagaytay, Laguna Boulevard, Laguna Technopark, and a Toll Barrier before SLEX.

The CALAX is 45-kilometer, 4-lane expressway that will soon connect the Manila-Cavite Expressway Kawit City, Cavite to the South Luzon Expressway  at Mamplasan Interchange in Biñan. Rates are based on the per kilometer rate approved by the TRB in February of 2020.

MPCALA Holdings, Inc. is a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation, which also holds the concession rights for the CAVITEX, Cavitex C5 Link, the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), the NLEX Connector Road, the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) and the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) in Cebu.
