Diversified telecommunications firm PT&T Corp. earned its first ISO 9001:2015 certification following the successful establishment of its Quality Management System (QMS) during the course of the pandemic.
PT&T’s first ISO 9001:2015 certification was issued by BQSR, a globally recognized ISO Certification body with a specialized wide pool of auditors and technical experts conducting audits across various industries including telecommunications.
PT&T’s decision to strive for the accreditation shows its adherence for continuous improvement of its products and services. The company underwent an extensive and rigorous company-wide audit, substantiating how its QMS meets pertinent statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements, as well as clearance to non-conformances.
“I am proud to say that we’re now ISO-certified. This achievement demonstrates our commitment to the customer as we always seek the highest levels of quality in our bid to better serve their needs,” President and CEO James Velasquez said.
“Our move to ISO 9001:2015 underpins our priority to provide world-class solutions stack, measured against global benchmark of industry excellence. This is essential as we help our clients adopt new technologies and achieve operational excellence along with their digital transformation journey. We are now looking forward to receiving another certification for Information Security Management System, ISO 27001:2013 by the end of the year,” he added.
